I want to be alone….in Budapest

I recently returned from a week’s writing retreat in Budapest where some friends kindly lent me a garret to work, sleep and eat in. The lack of distractions meant that I got a huge amount of work done on the plot for Book 3 in the Johnson and Wilde series. Jack and Nina move on from Bath to the River Isis at Oxford where they are quickly immersed in some very dark waters. I’m very excited about how it is shaping up – but I suspect I shall have to have another writing retreat in the city of dreaming spires very soon – and I still need to come up with a title!
